Mystify

"Mystify"

All veils and misty
Streets of blue
Almond looks
That chill divine
Some silken moment
Goes on forever
And we're leaving broken hearts behind

Mystify
Mystify me
Mystify
Mystify me

I need perfection
Some twisted selection
That tangles me
To keep me alive

In all that exists
None have your beauty
I see your face
I will survive

Eternally wild with the power
To make every moment come alive
All those stars that shine upon you
Will kiss you every night

All veils and misty
Streets of blue
Almond looks
That chill divine
Some silken moment
Goes on forever
And we're leaving
Yeah we're leaving broken hearts behind

You're eternally wild with the power
To make every moment come alive
All those stars that shine upon you
And they'll kiss you every night

Marines

Gotta love the Marines

A Marine was attending some college courses between assignments. He had completed missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. One of the courses had a professor who was an avowed atheist and a member of the ACLU.

One day he shocked the class when he came in, looked to the ceiling, and flatly stated, "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you exactly 15 minutes." The lecture room fell silent.

You could hear a pin drop. Ten minutes went by and the professor proclaimed, "Here I am God. I'm still waiting." It got down to the last couple of minutes when the Marine got out of his chair, went up to the professor, and cold-cocked him; knocking him off the platform. The professor was out cold. The Marine went back to his seat and sat there, silently.

The other students were shocked and stunned and sat there looking on in silence. The professor eventually came to, noticeably shaken, looked at the Marine, and asked, "What the hell is the matter with you? Why did you do that?"

The Marine calmly replied, "God was too busy today protecting America's soldiers who are protecting your right to say stupid crap and act like an ass. So He sent me.

If you haven't seen Pike in a while, He has Grown

These shots were taken of Pike at the Trashfest Treasure hunt in June.

He is rather skinny, now 6'4". He turns 18 on 1 Aug.

Here he is with his assigned dive buddy, Debbie Dark. She is a diver who I recently trained.

I am very proud of my son Pike. I hope is better man than me! I love him with all my heart.

Reunion???

I bought my ticket to Dallas and am trying to find out what hotel this shindig is planned for? I hope you have warned the local authorities and "entertainment" that we are headed their way. Looking forward to the debauchery that we are about to witness..Spengler

Bad Boy Says it Right

Please click on the picture of Bryan to read his comments on What is Freedom. This was featured yesterday on the front page of the East Valley Tribune.

I found his words poignant.

I would like to read each of your words on What is Freedom. Please write it in a new post, not as a comment.
